Martha Jane (Morrison) Byard

Martha Jane Byard, 79, of Clarksville, TN, passed away on Tuesday, September 4, 2018, at Clarksville Nursing and Rehabilitation.

Jane was born on September 6, 1938, in Clarksville, TN to the late Johnnie Morrison and Martha Parker Morrison. She was also preceded in death by her husband, John Byard.

Celebration of Life Service will be held on Friday, September 7, 2018, at 10:00 a.m. at the Neal-Tarpley-Parchman Chapel with Rev. Bill Graham, Rev. Steve Lannom, and Rev. Pat Van Dyke officiating. Burial will be at Resthaven Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be held on Thursday, September 6, 2018, from 5:00-8:00 p.m. and Friday, September 7, 2018, from 9:00 a.m. until the hour of service at the funeral home.

Jane retired from Burger King as an area supervisor after 30 years. She was a member of First Baptist Church. She enjoyed reading, watching sports, keeping in touch with friends on Facebook, her IPad, and listening to country and gospel music. She was an avid UT Fan and was married to her loving husband of 56 years.

Jane is survived by her son, Randy Byard; two daughters, Melinda (Roy) Bybee and Lori Byard; brother, Bobby (Barbara) Morrison; four grandchildren, Amanda (Garnett) Courtney, Amber Davis, A.J. (Ashley) Bybee, and Dylan (Stevie) Byard; and eight great grandchildren, Mckenzi Davis, Chase Garza, Ashlynn Garza, Garnet Courtney, Amethyst Courtney, Coal Courtney, Peyton Davis, and Aubrey Bybee.

Pallbearers will be Dylan Byard, Gary Byard, Brent Byard, Bill Byard Jr., Jeremy Byard, Ronnie Byard, Bobby Morrison Jr., Alan Burkhart, and Ryan Wolfe. Honorary pallbearers will be Dwight Dickson Sunday School Class.
