Mildred "Diane" (Neblett) Baird

Mildred “Diane” Neblett Baird, age 78 of Clarksville, passed away on Friday, May 13, 2022 at Spring Meadows Healthcare.

Diane was born on September 12, 1943 in Clarksville, TN to the late Harry Neblett and Marie Shelby Neblett. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Fred Eugene Baird and her brother, Harry R. Neblett, Jr. She is survived by her brother, Paul E. (Jo Ann) Neblett of Bumpus Mills, TN; sister, Joyce Neblett Decker of West Chester, PA; sister-in-law, Betty Neblett of Clarksville, TN; nieces: Sondra Shields, Brenda VanBuren and Karen Smith of Clarksville, TN; nephews, Patrick Decker of Paoli, PA and Mark Neblett of Salem, TN. 

Diane was a Librarian at MTSU and worked for the state of Tennessee Library. She was also a lifetime member of Salem Community Church and an active and long standing member in the Women's Group.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held at Salem Community Church located at 2269 7 Mile Ferry Road, Clarksville, TN 37040 on Wednesday, June 15, 2:00 P.M, with Pastor Nathan Pearson officiating. Interment will follow at Salem Cemetery. Visitation will be Wednesday, June 15, 2022 from 1:00 pm until the hour of service.
