I did not know about Myrtle until today. I am so sorry. She was a wonderful woman. I will never forget how she always made Hogue and myself always feel like family. She will be greatly missed.

The loss of a cherished loved one is the most devastating experiences a family can face. At times, the loss may seem unbearable. Please know that there are people who care and more importantly Psalm 34:18 tells us that "God is near to those that are broken at heart. He is the God of all comfort. Our prayers are with you and your family during this difficult time of grief.

Words cannot express how sorry I am for your loss. What an amazing woman to have had the privilege of being part of my life, and so many others lives. Since I was 6 years old, I have considered April one of my dearest friends, and Mrs. Mathews was always like a second Mom to me. My Mom and her were good friends as well, and I remember many times when they would take me and April out of school on shopping trips to Nashville, and we would get to spend the day with our Moms without a care in the world. I also remember a few times when we got in trouble later on in our teenage years ... you really didn't want to make her mad, but you knew she still loved you regardless of the circumstances and how tough the punishment was. I will cherish all of the memories I have of our times together.
I am forever grateful for the role she played in my life.
I love you Mrs. Mathews & my dear friend April. Sending lots of love and prayers to you and the rest of the family.
