Ollie Mae (Jones) Hatcher

Ollie Mae Jones Hatcher, age 88, of Old Hickory, TN, passed away Thursday, August 2, 2018, at McKendree Village, in Nashville. 

Ollie was born February 5, 1930, in Bolivar, TN, to the late Eddie Jones and Jessie Beard Jones. She was also preceded in death by a son, Eddie Johnson; a daughter, Amelia Diane Johnson; and two brothers, Homer Jones and Dempsey Jones. 

Mrs. Hatcher was a caretaker and a faithful Jehovah's Witness. 

A Celebration of Life Service will be held Saturday, August 11, at 11:00 AM, at the Chapel of Neal-Tarpley-Parchman Funeral Home, with Steve Garrett officiating. Visitation will be Friday, August 10, from 4:00 to 7:00 PM, and Saturday, August 11, from 10:00 AM until the hour of service, at the funeral home. 

Ollie is survived by her husband, James M. Hatcher; seven sons, Alfred Jones, Clifford Jones, Travis Johnson, Rayburn Johnson, Barry (Carla) Johnson, Gary (Mary) Johnson, and Kenny (Zelma) Johnson; two daughters, Linda Faye Collins (Randy Collins-preceded) and Felicia Johnson; five stepsons, Andrew (Betsy) Hatcher, James D. Hatcher, John Hatcher, Joe (Danielle) Hatcher, and Jerry (Sue) Hatcher; stepdaughter, Delia Woods; two brothers, Sammy Jones and Ray Jones; four sisters, Dorothy Owens, Lillie Brady, Ruth McIntosh, and Immogene Bowden; and multiple grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
