Phillip Grady Brown

Phillip G. Brown, age 87, of Clarksville, TN, passed away Sunday, September 18, 2022, surrounded by family at Signature of Clarksville. 

Phillip was born May 31, 1935, in Memphis, TN to the late Luther Griffin Brown and Violet Marie Renken Brown. Phillip is also preceded in death by his sons, Phillip Grady Brown, Jr. and Kyle Renken Brown. 

Phillip is survived by his loving wife, Claudette Sanders Brown; daughters, Phillis Brown Crawford (BJ), Karen Brown Cecil (Carl), Miriam Brown Murray (Chris); brothers, Melbourne "Bubba" Brown, James L. Brown; sister, Carolyne Willis; grandchildren, Craig Crawford, Katelan Crawford Barron, Reece Crawford, Kelly Cecil Wible, Claire Cecil, Annie Cecil Barlow, Patrick Cecil, Margaret Murray Carroll, Paul Murray; great grandchildren, 12.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held at Grace Lutheran Church located at 2041 Madison Street, Clarksville, TN 37043 on Monday, September 26, 2022 at 11:00 AM with visitation one hour prior.  Larry Peters will be  Officiating. Honorary Pallbearers will be: B.J. Crawford, Carl Cecil, Chris Murray, Randy Andersen, Craig Crawford, Reece Crawford, Paul Murray, Patrick Cecil, Chris Barron, Richard Wozniak, and Ben Carroll. 

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to  Grace Lutheran Church at  2041 Madison Street, Clarksville, TN 37043.
