Raymond Allen Schmidt

Raymond Allen Schmidt, age 81, of Clarksville, passed away Sunday, September 19, 2021, at Tennvoa Healthcare.

Raymond was born May 9, 1940, in Bishop, CA, to the late Raymond Christopher Schmidt and Clarice Boris Schmidt. He was also preceded in death by his wife, DeeAnn Carmen Carson Schmidt; and one sister, Patricia Woy.

He was a US Air Force veteran and a retired attorney. Mr. Schmidt loved cooking and traveling in his RV.

A graveside service will be held at a later date, at Middle Tennessee State Veterans Cemetery, in Nashville.

Raymond is survived by his son, Christopher J. (Carrie) Schmidt; two daughters, Wendi D. (Eric) Hashimoto and Jill K. (James) Dockins; brother, Daniel (Crystal) Schmidt; sister, Marilyn (James) Cavener; and four grandchildren, Cara Dockins, Quinn Dockins, Ella Schmidt, and Sarah Schmidt.
