Rennie Laverne Tinker

Rennie Laverne Tinker, age 90, of Clarksville, went to be with her Lord and savior on Saturday, September 16, 2023.

Laverne was born on August 2, 1933 in Houston Co., TN to the late Sam Riley Mathis and Clatie Kennedy. Laverne is also preceded in death by her six brothers and three sisters.

Laverne is survived by her loving husband, Donald Tinker and many nieces and nephews.

Upon her retirement from General Motors, Laverne continued to serve her community faithfully at Pardue Memorial Freewill Baptist Church.

A Celebration of Life in Laverne’s honor will be held on Wednesday, September 20, 2023 at 11:00 AM in the Chapel of Neal Tarpley Parchman Funeral Home with Pastor Jason Bell officiating. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, September 20, 2023 from 10:00 AM until the hour of service and Tuesday, September 19, 2023 from 4:00 PM- 7:00 PM. Burial will follow directly after the service at Resthaven Memorial Gardens.
