Rev. David Ray Murray, age 55, of Cunningham, passed away Tuesday, November 21, 2017, at his residence. 

David was born July 18, 1962, in Phoenix, AZ, to Sharon Rau Black and the late Arthur Ray Murray. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Susan Pope Murray; stepfather, CSM Thomas F. Black; paternal grandparents, Ray and Verdi Murray; maternal grandparents Richard and Margaret Rau; one brother, Gerald Seale; and granddaughter, Kelsey Grant. 

David was a brilliant programmer, he loved bowling and karaoke. He was a loving son, father, and grandfather. Mr. Murray was a pastor for Murf Ministries. He was a US Air Force veteran.

No public services are planned, and David's remains are to be cremated.

In addition to his mother, he is survived by three sons, Michael (Amber) Murray of Oregon, Michael (NaDonna) Pope of California, and Sgt. Jason (Brandi) Grant of Okinawa, Japan; daughter, Sheelagh Arnett (Steve) Guzman of California; two brothers, Daniel (Sandy) Murray of Corona, CA and Richard (Evonne) Cameron of Phoenix, AZ; sister, Susan (Nelson) Patterson of Clarksville; two step-brothers, Jon (Julie) Black of Prairie Grove, AR and Neil Patterson of Clarksville; eleven grandchildren, Emma Rose Murray, Keldonna Pope (Jack) Stanton, Marrek, Jarrek, Orihah, Rhiana, and Criana Pope, and Randee Brandt, and Aaron Grant, and Jenna and Jesse Arnett; one great grandchild, Oliver Stanton; three nieces and nephews, Maya (Edward) Black, Hayden (Alexis) Murray, and Travis (Angela) Chase; two aunts, Glenda Rau Chase and Linda Murray; and uncle, Patrick (Ann) Seale.
