Ricky "JR" Lewis Knight, Jr.

Ricky “JR” Lewis Knight, Jr. age 35 of Clarksville, passed away on Tuesday, May 10, 2022.

JR was born on December 4, 1986 in Clarksville, TN to Ricky (Rita) Lewis Knight, Sr. and Sharon Amabile Knight. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Joseph and Shirley Amabile, Jerry and Joyce Knight and Louis Marshbanks. He is survived by his wife, Kayla Slayton Knight; son, Blake Knight; sisters, Barbie Holder (Leighton Hite), Brittany (Kevin) Weaver; grandmother, Ann Marshbanks; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Randy and Vicky Slayton; 2 nieces and 4 nephews.

JR was a driver for Jerry Knight Motorsports, #43.

A celebration of life service will be held on Monday, May 16, 2022 at 4:00 PM at the chapel of Neal-Tarpley-Parchman Funeral Home with Dr. Larry Robertson officiating. Visitation will be Sunday, May 15, 2022 from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM and on Monday, May 16, 2022 from 2:00 until the hour of service.
