Robert Howard Murphy

Robert H. Murphy, age 83 of Clarksville, passed away Friday, May 28, 2021 at Tennova Healthcare.

Robert was born on May 15, 1938 in Clarksville, TN to Harry A. Murphy and Lela Nanny Lyle. In addition to his parents, he is also preceded in death by his wife, Martha S. Murphy. He is survived by his daughters: Debra (Charles) Abernathy, Rhonda Shepard (Elias) Camacho; 5 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren.

Robert was a member of Pleasant View Baptist Church and a 1956 graduate of Clarksville High.  He loved deer hunting, fishing, boating, camping and flying.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held, Wednesday, June 2, 2021 @ 11:00 AM at the Chapel of Neal-Tarpley-Parchman Funeral Home with Rev. Steve Lannom officiating. Visitation will be held Tuesday, June 1, 2021 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Neal-Tarpley-Parchman Funeral Home. Interment will be at Resthaven Memorial Gardens.
