Robert W. "Bob" Hausman

Robert W. “Bob” Hausman, age 69, of Clarksville, TN passed away Tuesday, July 24, 2018, in Ft. Myers, FL. 

He was born October 2, 1948 in Kenmore, NY a son of the late John H. Hausman, Sr. and Rose L. Phillips Hausman. He had been a resident of Clarksville since 1969 moving from New York. He was an alumnus of Cumberland University, Austin Peay University, and Trevecca Nazarene University, where he received his Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education and his Masters in Administration and Supervision.
He was an educator for 42 years in the Clarksville-Montgomery County School System (CMCSS) having taught 4th thru 7th grades and also was a vice-principal and principal.  He taught at St. Bethlehem Elementary, Montgomery Central Elementary, Hazelwood Elementary, Montgomery Central Middle, Northeast Middle, and Richview Middle. He was a tennis coach at Montgomery Central High and Clarksville High. He taught continuing education GED classes at Montgomery Central for many years. He was a member for life of the following professional educational associations: CMCRTA, CMCEA, TEA, and NEA.

He is survived by his loving wife, Joyce A. Hausman of Clarksville, TN; sons, William J. Christmas of Oxnard, CA and Robert J. Hausman and his wife, Candice of Cunningham, TN; daughter, Jolie G.R. Ryle and her husband, Joshua of Clarksville, TN; one brother, John H. Hausman, Jr. and his wife, Susan of Clarence, NY; one sister, Katherine A. Stoner and her husband, Paul of Irvine, CA and 6 grandchildren, Hope, Mickey, Ryder, Lola, Glory and John. A lifelong Catholic and a devoted husband, father, and grandfather, he gave advice and counsel to those who sought it and love to all.

A Celebration of Life Service will held Saturday, August 4, at 3:00 PM, at the Chapel of Neal-Tarpley-Parchman Funeral Home, with Bro. James Sander officiating. Visitation will be from 1:00 PM until the hour of service, at the funeral home.
