Roberta (Gallaher) Adams

Roberta Gallaher Adams, 97, of Clarksville, TN, passed away on Sunday, September 23, 2018, in Little Rock, AR.

Roberta was born on March 7, 1921, in Montgomery County, TN to the late Robert Crawford Gallaher and Cora Hutton Gallaher. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Irvin Chester Adams; brother, Marvin Gallaher; and three sisters, Mildred Gilpin, Evelyn Coppedge, and Sarah Hawkins.

Celebration of Life Service will be held on Friday, October 5, 2018, at 1:00 p.m. at the Neal-Tarpley-Parchman Chapel with Dr. Felts Dent officiating. Burial will be at Resthaven Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 4, 2018, from 4:00-7:00 p.m. and Friday, October 5, 2018, from 11:00 a.m. until the hour of service at the funeral home.

Roberta was a retired Executive Secretary for Bank of America. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Clarksville.

Roberta is survived by her son, Bob (Darla) Adams of Maumelle, AR; two daughters, Carol Harper of Gainesboro, TN and Janet (Carl) Curzio of Chesapeake, VA; five grandchildren, Jackson Adams, Matt Harper, Angie McKay, Bethany Lake, and Brendon Curzio; and eight great grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Jackson Adams, Matt Harper, Brendon Curzio, Cory McKay, Josh Lake, and Gerald Evans.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the First Baptist Church Memorial Fund, 435 Madison Street, Clarksville, TN 37040.
