Sandra Joyce Leath

Sandra Joyce Leath, age 82, of Clarksville, passed away Wednesday, August 28, 2019, at her residence, after an extended illness. 

Sandra was born April 11, 1937 to the late Kenneth and Anne Mae Morris Allen of Clarksville. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, James “Catfish” Leath; brother, Kenneth Charles Allen; sister, Sylvia Atkins; nephew, Robert Allen “Ski” Kulakowski; and brother-in-law, Robert E. “Bob” Kulakowski.

Mrs. Leath attended Austin Peay State University. In addition to attending APSU, she was a long time employee and retiree. A life-long member of First Presbyterian Church in Clarksville, Sandra also attended Sango United Methodist Church in her later years.

Services for Sandra Joyce Leath of Clarksville will be Friday, August 30, at 1:00 PM, at the Chapel of Neal-Tarpley Parchman Funeral Home, with Freddy T. Wyatt and Scott Aleridge officiating. Visitation will be Thursday, August 29 from 4:00 to 7:00 PM, and Friday, August 30, from 11:00 AM until the hour of service, at the funeral home. 
Pallbearers will be Kenny Allen, David Allen, Steve Atkins, Scott Atkins, Mike Dean, and Bill Van Beber. 

Survivors include two sons, Ronald Allen (Mary Ann) Leath and Richard Christopher (Tracey) Leath, both of Clarksville; granddaughters, Lauren Ashton (Rob) Graham of Nashville, Camille Alexis Leath of Clarksville; sister Kitty Kulakowski of Gallatin, brother-in-law, Don Atkins; and sister-in-law, Marcia Allen, both of Clarksville; and several nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimers Association, 478 Craighead Street, Suite 220, Nashville, TN 37204.
