Ute Helena Ebbers Sheppard, age 81, of Clarksville, passed away Thursday, November 30, 2017, at her residence. 

Ute was born March 30, 1936, in Essen-Kray, Germany, to the late Johann Ebbers and Helen Theresa Machuy Ebbers. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Troy James Sheppard.

Mrs. Sheppard was a retired nurse at Clarksville Memorial Hospital. 

A Celebration of Life Service will be held Monday, December 11, 2017, at 11:00 AM, at the Chapel of Neal-Tarpley-Parchman Funeral Home, with Rev. David Sheppard officiating. Interment will follow at Kentucky Veterans Cemetery West, in Hopkinsvlle. Visitation will be Monday, December 11, from 9:00 AM until the hour of service, at the funeral home. 

Ute is survived by three sons, Dony (Laura) Sheppard of Raleigh, NC, David Sheppard of Tampa, FL, and Troy James Sheppard, Jr. of Clarksville; grandchildren, Jacob, Nick (Nita), Delaina (Juan), Kassy (Austin), Chris (Jessica), TJ and Emma Rose; and two great grandsons, Jasper and Tobias.
