William "Othell" Vaughn

William “Othell” Vaughn, age 85 of Clarksville, Passed away Friday, February 12, 2021 at TriStar Skyline Medical Center.

William was born July 25, 1935 in Clarksville, TN to the late William Joseph Vaughn and Sally Esther Harris Vaughn. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife, Evelyn Louise Sawyer Vaughn.  He is survived by his son, Darrell (Jodi) Vaughn; daughter, Karen (Eddie) Crutcher; brothers: Donald Vaughn, Bobby Vaughn; sisters: Anita Massey, Juanita Shepherd; five grandchildren: Kayla Bagwell, Zachary Bagwell, Evelyn Crutcher Nunez, Joseph Smith and Sandy Miller; and special friend, Mary George.

William was a U.S. Navy Veteran and owner of Vaughn Signs.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held Saturday, February 20, 2021 at 1:00 PM at the Chapel of Neal-Tarpley-Parchman Funeral Home with Bing Verbist officiating. Visitation will be Saturday, February 20, 2021 from 10:00 AM until the hour of service. Interment will be at Greenwood Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Darrell Vaughn, Zachary Bagwell, Eddie Crutcher, Joseph Smith, Mark Weber and Johnathan Williams. Honorary Pallbearer is Eric Hitch.
