William "Bill" Henry Cheatham

William "Bill" Henry Cheatham, age 71, of Clarksville, passed away Saturday, June 25, 2022, at his residence.

Bill was born January 1, 1951, in Hopkinsville, KY, to the late Willie Oscar Cheatham and Clara Campbell Cheatham. 

He is survived by his wife, Delana Mayo Cheatham; four sons, Jason Cheatham, Jeffery (Lynn) Cheatham, Joshua (Stacey) Cheatham, and Michael (April) Cheatham; daughter, Rev. Michelle (Rev. James) Lunsford; brother, Owen (Becky) Cheatham; sister, Tammy (Rusty) Ralls; 15 grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren; and many extended family members.

Mr. Cheatham retired after 26 years in civil service, with the Installation Maintenance Division, which directly supports the 101st Airborne Division. He was a member of Pardue Free Will Baptist Church.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held Thursday, June 30, at 10:00 AM, at Pardue Free Will Baptist Church, with Rev. James Lunsford and Rev. Jason Bell officiating. Visitation will be Thursday, June 30, from 9:00 AM until the hour of service, at the church.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to American Cancer Society at cancer.org; or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital at stjude.org.
