William (Bill) Douglas Lewis

William (Bill) Douglas Lewis, age 65, of Clarksville, TN, Passed away November, 12, 2022 at Tennova Medical Center.

Bill was born December 22, 1956, in Ector County, Texas . He is preceded in death by his mother, Edna (Joan) Higginbotham Green, uncle; Tom Higginbotham; grandparents, Charles R. and Eva McGinn.

Bill is survived by his loving companion of 23 years, Mildred (Milly) Ann Rice of Clarksville; daughter, Lindsey Lee Rice (Nicholas Shutt) of Clarksville; aunts, Mary Foster (Charlie) of OH, Debbie Moore (Bill) of OH, Mel Kramer (Tom) of OH , Becky Spanovich (Tony) of OH; uncles, Butch McGinn (Tondra) of OH, Mike McGinn (Dee) NH, Jack McGinn (Jeanine) of KY.

Bill was a loving partner, father, and all around family man who always considered his friends as family. His love for his animals was always present and he will be missed sorely by his dogs, Angel and Tawny and his cats, Peaches, Agent K, and Itty Bitty. A lifelong fan of Ohio State and later the LA Chargers, Bill will be cheering still!

A Visitation Saturday, November 19, 2022 from 12:00- 3:00 PM at Neal Tarpley Parchman Funeral Home. Family and friends are encouraged to attend.
