Lonnie Eric Neal, age 86, of Clarksville, passed away Tuesday, March 28, 2017, at Fieldstone Place Assisted Living.

Lonnie was born June 16, 1930, in Houston County, TN, to the late Lonnie Eric Neal, Sr. and Merle Halliburton Neal Myers. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Judi Mullaney Neal; and two brothers, Michael "Mike" Neal and Robert "Bob" Neal.

Lonnie is the retired owner of Neal-Tarpley Funeral Home. He was also a member of the Kiwanis Club for over 60 years.

A Celebration of Life Service will be Saturday, April 1, at 11:00 AM, at the Chapel of Neal-Tarpley-Parchman Funeral Home, with Rev. Jeff Burris officiating. Burial will follow at Greenwood Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday, March 31, from 4:00 to 7:00 PM, and Saturday, April 1, from 9:00 AM until the hour of service, at the funeral home.

Lonnie is survived by his daughter, Beverly Neal Bullock of Clarksville; son, Jared Neal of Clarksville; two stepdaughters, Tracie (Randall) Chadwell of Pegram, TN and Mary Todd (Kim) Lewis of Erin, TN; five grandchildren, Jeremy (Kelly) Bullock, Mesina (Joshua) Roberts, Mary Kate Lewis, Gavin Lewis, and Matthew Knight; and seven great grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Jeremy Bullock, Gavin Lewis, Kim Lewis, Mike Parchman, James Cheatham, Glenn Varble, and Tony Knight. Honorary pallbearers will be Jared Neal and members of the Kiwanis Club.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Clarksville Kiwanis Foundation - Reading Rodeo, P.O. Box 54, Clarksville, TN 37041; or to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
